in the separate validation report supplied with this kit.

SCVeamer version 1.3 — English edition: validation record
2026-10-24

SCOPE
This edition localizes the editor, player, English lecture sample, templates,
example selection pages and documentation. It retains the version 1.2 conversion
model and visualization algorithms. The Japanese edition is a separate kit.
Historical version 1.2 checks are summarized in VALIDATION_1_2.txt.

SOURCE AND CONVERSION
- Python files compile, and the existing 15 regression tests pass.
- Independent comparison found the same Python AST structure after ignoring
string literals in all seven application/engine modules. The language and
edition strings changed; control flow and mathematical calculations did not.
- Settings and fallback working directories use version-1.3-en.
- Standard library startup and the local .venv setup workflow are retained.
- Dependency pins and Windows launcher commands are unchanged.
- The English source styles and builder/player default to English.
- Game IDs, formulas and catalog verdicts are unchanged.

ENGLISH STARTER AND TEMPLATE
- Starter: 6 logical slides, 9 display states, 6-page handout.
- Template v2: 9 logical slides, 13 display states.
- Both were rebuilt with LuaLaTeX using the English engine/player/resources.
- Extracted PDF text contains no Japanese text.
- No Overfull, Underfull or LaTeX Error messages in either final build log.
- All pages visually inspected in rendered contact sheets; no clipping or
  overlapping content was found.
- English color previews were generated from actual red, blue and yellow
template PDFs, including title and definition/theorem pages.
- Theme galleries are self-contained and include English preview images.

DOCUMENTATION
- English quick start, first steps, full manual, source instructions, credits,
release notes and historical validation summary are included.
- The full manual retains setup, TeXworks/LuaLaTeX/UTF-8 instructions, PyMuPDF
troubleshooting, fixed-example insertion, print counterparts, themes,
schedules, notes, migration, existing-PDF conversion and executable packaging.
- All 194 manual catalog entries have unique, valid viewer/ID pairs.
- Independent audit verified every English description, verdict and copied
insertion command against the bundled catalogs.
- Manual and documentation links/anchors were checked without missing targets.
- The example picker contains all 194 English entries and Copy TeX commands.
- Root/project documentation contains no visible untranslated Japanese.
- Existing bilingual game dictionaries and catalog JA fields are retained
intentionally so explicit lang=ja remains available.

PROJECT CREDITS
The research title, MEXT SPReAD programme, June 2026–January 2027 period,
Takayuki Koike's role and affiliation, and joint development with Kyoka Marui,
Masakazu Takakura and Ryo Uchimoto are preserved in English.

ENVIRONMENT AND LIMITS
Preparation used Python 3.12.14, PyMuPDF 1.26.6 and TeX Live 2023 (LuaHBTeX).
The browser checks for the integrated English lecture and games are part of
release integration. Native Windows 11 launch, executable packaging, actual
projector hardware and antivirus scans were not performed in this environment.
Completed HTML viewing needs only a browser; TeX is required to rebuild sources.
