SCVeamer version 1.4 prototype: original validation record 2026-10-24 This file records checks performed when the supplied 1.4 prototype was prepared, before the publication-documentation revision. See VALIDATION_PUBLICATION_1_4.txt for the documentation update and the later report of practical use on Windows 11. The original record below and measurements under validation/ remain records of their respective test dates. Their untested-Windows statements are not claims that the later personal-use report did not occur. No new runtime test is claimed for this documentation-only publication preparation. Original 1.4 prototype record follows ==================================== SCVeamer version 1.4 prototype validation — 2026-10-24 (Japan time) Build: 1.4-prototype-20261024 Baseline: the accepted PDFium 2560px prototype derived from public SCVeamer1.3. This record distinguishes the versioned-kit checks from the preceding backend comparison in VALIDATION_PDFIUM.txt and the original JSON records in validation/. Final versioned-kit checks: PASS - Rebuilt all three projects in each edition through the PDF-only path. - Python regression suite:17 tests pass in each edition, without fitz/pymupdf. - CLI --version reports SCVeamer1.4 prototype /1.4-prototype-20261024. - Every generated HTML file is byte-identical to its accepted predecessor after normalizing ONLY3 outer product-version labels and1 scveamer_version value. - All196 embedded page/print-fallback PNG states are byte-identical in total. - All remaining JSON payload, titles, alternative text, game sources/settings, language, timings, overlays and print fallback are unchanged. - HTML format remains holomorphonautica-talk-template-2.0. - Each edition's player JavaScript/CSS and6 game/catalog files are byte-identical. - Each edition's25 input/configuration/TeX/style/PDF assets are byte-identical. - All4 regenerated handout files (104 pages total) are byte-identical. - Each edition's20 license texts, inventory and third-party notices are identical. - Current code changes relative to the accepted prototype are limited to product version strings, settings/fallback namespace, recipe comment and test fixture. - Current documentation was checked for correct1.4/baseline1.3 labels and scope. The user accepted the appearance of the2560px presentation on2026-10-24. Their response does not identify an OS, screen size, zoom or projector. The earlier offline browser run passed103 checks per condition. It was not repeated just for version labels; full-file equality proves the actual HTML change is limited to those four product-version values. The preceding benchmark and memory figures retain their original single-run measurement scope. Current application and HTML product labels are1.4. Historical release notes, PDF source content and unchanged source comments retain original version labels. Settings/fallback namespace: version-1.4-prototype-en. Bundled image width2560; CLI > presentation.json > fallback1920. Not tested: fresh Windows/Mac GUI operation or setup, executable creation, full TeX compilation workflow, live projection and arbitrary-PDF compatibility. No new legal/organizational clearance, security audit or own-code MIT grant. The public site and original download archives remain unchanged. Detailed measured files and hashes: validation/v1_4_release.json. The ZIP carries PACKAGE_MANIFEST.json with the size/SHA-256 of each other member; archive integrity is checked at delivery, and its final hash is in the handoff.
